My name is Julia Pisias and I want you to eat your placenta! What?! Sounds crazy, right, but I can tell you that you won't regret it! I am the owner of Placenta Mama and I encapsulate placentas, make placenta tinctures and salves. I can't wait to tell the whole world about the many benefits of encapsulating your placenta including increasing your energy, helping milk supply come in, shrinking your uterus, balancing your hormones and so many more!
When I'm not on my personal mission of telling people about encapsulating their placenta I am a busy mom of two little girls. I gave birth to my first daughter in 2013 after 30 hours of all natural labor. You can imagine that I was one tired mama! Encapsulating my placenta was in my birth plan and I was so happy I did it! It was an easy decision for me because I was aware of all the positive benefits there are when experiencing this natural process. The first thing I noticed after taking my first dosage was the amount of energy I had and the feeling of being balanced after such a long ordeal. After having such a positive experience I wanted to spread the word about how beneficial encapsulating your placenta could be and soon after began my encapsulating training. I wanted to give other women the knowledge about the benefits of encapsulating your placenta and a safe way to do so. Remember, no matter how you give birth, natural, use of an epidural or a c-section, it is always possible to encapsulate your placenta.
A little bit more about me; I have a BA in Communications from CSUF and I proudly served two years active duty in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. I thrive on empowering women and sharing knowledge about child birth education and natural remedies. I love anything outdoors especially the beach, hiking and now plenty of park outings!
